LA Live is part of an entertainment megaplex located at the southwest edge of downtown Los Angeles that also includes the Los Angeles Convention Center and the Staples Center. LA Live contains numerous dining options (ranging from EPSN Zone to Trader Vic's to a Wolfgang Puck restaurant) and a couple of different performing venues. The Nokia Theatre seats over 7,000 and has hosted the Emmy's, the ESPY's and the American Music Awards. The 40,000 square foot open-air Nokia Plaza is also the place to see performances, festivals and other events. In 2010 two hotels, a Ritz-Carlton and a JW Marriott, opened on the site.
